PRSSA

Founded in 1998, the DePaul University PRSSA Chapter has continually exemplified excellence in public relations education, leadership, and professional development. Our chapter has been recognized with annual national honors including awards for star chapter status, five-time Outstanding District Conference, Outstanding University Service, the 2025 Outstanding Chapter, and more.

Our chapter is committed to creating meaningful experiences for students and the community alike. Over the past year, we’ve attended 20 site visits, had 2 client partnerships, and welcomed 30+ practitioners to our events, fostering connections between members and industry professionals while promoting hands-on learning. Through activities such as a client partnership with the Respiratory Health Association (RHA) and visits to the Field Museum and Edelman, our chapter has made a tangible given our students opportunities to apply their skills beyond the classroom. What truly sets our chapter apart is our collaborative culture, making us a strong and valuable partner for any sponsor.

Sponsorship funds will directly support hosting the 2026 PRSSA Midwest District Conference: PR-Palooza in Chicago, helping us create a memorable and affordable experience for attendees. As our chapter’s main fundraiser of the year, district conference contributions will cover key conference expenses and allow us to keep registration costs low while delivering valuable career development opportunities. Remaining funds after expenses are paid will support year-round programming, student travel to national PRSSA conferences, and dues scholarships that ensure PRSSA remains accessible to all students.
