Support First-Gen Students Today!
First-generation students often have to balance the cost of tuition with everyday expenses such as textbooks, transportation, and meals. A donation to the First Gen Fund would directly support DePaul students who may need extra financial help to continue their education.
We would use the money to provide scholarships during First-Generation College Celebration Week. These scholarships would help students cover the expenses that can make college more difficult to afford.
Reaching our campaign goal would allow First Gen DePaul to support students in a meaningful way beyond hosting events and sharing resources. It would also help students feel like they have a community at DePaul that understands their experiences and wants to see them succeed. With the support of donors, we can reduce some of the financial stress students face and help them stay focused on earning their degrees.
